Dolch sight words is a list of frequently used English words. This well-known sight word list has been compiled by Edward William Dolch. So, it's called Dolch Sight Words. In USA it is a primary list for English starters. Parents and teachers of elementary school usually check kids' vocabulary level by this list. This app isn't only a word list. It includes web spelling exercises, fill in exercises, phrase or sentence examples, and hundreds of printable worksheets. Parents and teachers may print worksheets for offline game or training. The captions were not well related to the words. Giving the word in another phrase is not a very good picture association for low or new readers. If it says "funny" a winking smiley face is not associated with that word, as well as the phrase written "think big" is not a good picture association with the word "big". Picture cues are used to help non-readers or new readers associate with a word for understanding of the meaning to quickly recognize the word later. Hence the idea of sight wo... Show more
