Overview
Drag an image to save it
Just drag it! ----------------------------------------------------- Easiest way to save a picture!!!! Easy On/Off! This extension is given as a tribute rather than for profit, so enjoy it. ----------------------------------------------------- behavior * You can choose where to save it OR use chrome's default download location * Note: linked images (i.e. an image that when you press it a link is opened) have a default chrome behaviour when you drag it (open the link). If you want to save the pic, you have to right click it, select 'open image in new tab' and then drag the image on the new tab). This is done to avoid changing chrome's default behaviour. ----------------------------------------------------- Chrome's download location option is in: Settings->Advanced->Downloads Check -> "Ask where to save each file before downloading" -----------------------------------------------------

Thank you for fixing the previous issues Boaz. But now, when in image is open in a new tab, it doesn't work anymore. Instead it just opens the save file dialog. I mean when a direct link to an image is opened in tab. UPDATE: Oh my lord, I just realized I don't need this extension. Chrome by default does what a want it to. This extension actually broke that feature. 🤦🏻♂️

There was a bug on the background service. Fixed on next version. Thanks for the feedback. I checked it and it does work if the image is open on a new tab. you just have to drag it... The thing with chrome that if you frag an image of a link (i.e. where you press the image a link is opened), dragging the image will results in opening the link. In this case, you have to right click the image, choose 'open image in new tab', and then drag the new opened image.
