Overview

Write 280 characters emails in Gmail

We help you write short emails—a few sentences at max, by limiting the number of characters to use when writing in Gmail.
While typing we display a set of counter–how many characters, words and total time spent to write the email. Features + C: Characters Greater than 280, it turns red–we follow the twitter limit + W: Words Number of words that need less than a minute to be read, a total of 200–greater it turns red Change log + Currently we support one compose at a time, we are working on releasing a fix to support multi-compose Privacy + We don't store or process any data server–side, everything is processed on the client-browser. Really useful as I use an SMS bridge via Gmail and this helps me to limit the number of characters to 160. The only niggle is that, when replying to an email, the three little dots at the bottom left of the email window no longer appear, so I cant easily view the chain of emails below. The workaround is simply Ctrl+A, which highlights the whole message and makes the rest of the conversation appear.
