Overview

Keep your kiosk from going to sleep, however allow the screen to be managed via the kiosk app.

Run this on a Chrome Box running as a Kiosk and it will keep the "system" awake but does not manage the display. Now, you can manage display on/off within your Kiosk app, however the system will always stay on, thus allowing you to put your kiosk app on a schedule for night time on the schedule of your choice.

UPDATE: It does open, it just opens from the desktop and does not switch to it when you click it. Its on the desktop after you "PIN IT" to the shelf. Also from a review of folks here: http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/chrome-caffeine-how-to-disable-chrome-os-sleep-mode/ It seems like it does not work on an ASUS chromebook.
