Overview
Professional chess players spend a lot of time researching their opponents before a match, so why is it any different online?
This Chrome extension is designed to enhance the online chess-playing experience on lichess.org by providing players with valuable insights into their opponents' strategies and habits. It introduces an informative dashboard that offers a quick glance at an opponent's playing history, including their win/loss record, with specific details on the modes of victory or defeat (checkmate, resignation, time flag, or disconnection). It also displays a player's move-time distribution, giving users an edge by revealing how fast or slow their opponents play at various stages of the game. For a deeper strategic advantage, our extension analyzes an opponent's past game openings, presenting a breakdown of their performances with each opening strategy. This allows users to anticipate and prepare for potential opening moves. Additionally, the tool includes a personalized note-taking feature, enabling players to jot down observations and tactics for individual opponents, which are saved and can be referenced in future matches. Furthermore, the extension provides a statistical overview of a player's puzzle ratings and historical ELO ratings, offering insights into their problem-solving skills and performance trends. It also indicates whether an opponent is currently on a winning streak or has a propensity to disconnect from games. This comprehensive suite of features is crafted to give chess players a tactical advantage by equipping them with in-depth knowledge of their adversaries, all within the familiar interface of lichess.org. As a nod to the collaborative spirit of the chess community, the extension's source code is made open source, welcoming contributions and shared innovation to enhance its features.

Really enjoying the information. I'm able to target or avoid the London players based on their win-rate. Helps me understand if I'm likely to win in a time scramble. Knowing what opening your opponent is likely to play really makes chess a lot less stressful.
