None of us LOVE working in Ads Manager. So this is a helper tool to save you time and clicks with some common actions taken in Meta Ads Manager. There are currently three major features: 1. Turn off all creative enhancements across all major ad formats 2. Generate and export ad ids, ad names, preview links and post ids in bulk 3. Convert regular Carousel ads to those using "Placement asset customization" - Prepare your ads by creating regular carousel cards. Select default assets first and your vertical assets after. Then using this Chrome Extension, all relevant placement customizations will be created automatically. E.g. if you created a Carousel ad with 6 carousel cards, the first 3 will be used as for the default feed placements, while the latter 3 will be used for all selected Stories / Reels placements. Limitations: - Ad ID Selection: Once more than about 70 ads are selected (might be a little more or less for you), the "Load IDs" feature doesn't work anymore. This is because the ad ids are parsed from the current URL. Once the URL gets too long (because too many ads are selected), Meta does not have each ad id in the URL any longer, but uses some hashing (grouping) logic that makes it impossible to read out from the Chrome extension. - Turning off Creative Enhancements: * Info labels not supported * Auto-site links not (yet) supported * In some cases, users have reported that Catalog Collection ads with 9 creative enhancements are not supported. I have yet to replicate and fix this. * Note that EVERY selected ad will be recreated, losing - Exporting: Flexible ads are not supported. - Carousel Ads: You can only use the "conversion" for ads with 4, 6, 8 or 10 carousel cards / creative assets, which then get turned into PAC carousel ads with 2, 3, 4 or 5 carousel cards, respectively. Note that this feature *may* be limited to Kitchn.io customers in the future.
