Overview

By pressing F2 Text inserter will insert a definable text (options page) at the cursor position. Selected text will be replaced.

We often have to insert the same or similar text again and again into some input fields. With text inserter you can define such a text in the options page and easily insert it by pressing the F2 key. Beside the static text part, it is also possible to use tags to dynamically generate parts of the current date/time, when the text is inserted. Note: Text insertion will work for most input elements. Inserting into dynamically created iframes (e.g. some editors) is not supported at the moment.
