Wonderland hides the news feed on Facebook & Twitter when you first visit, allowing you to decide whether you really feel like going down "the rabbit hole", before any updates pull you in. Designed for people who regularly visit these sites for something specific (search, read message, check notifications) and end up getting sucked into the news feed against their wishes. NOTE: It will sometimes behave strangely because these websites use Ajax to load new pages. Returning to the home page and refreshing should fix things.
